Privacy policy

Malta Pre-Departure Course has no user accounts, login system, contact forms, document uploads, or payment processing. We do not ask you for your name, passport details, immigration status, or any identifying information, and nothing you read on this site is stored against you. The one exception is an email you choose to send us: see “If you email us” below.

If you write to the address on the contact page, we receive your email address and what you write. We use it to reply and to correct the guide. Please do not send passport numbers, identity documents, portal passwords or payment details.

The Study Hub stores quiz scores, attempt counts and recall review dates in this browser. These records stay on your device and are not sent to our server or included in our analytics events. They do not sync between devices. Speaking exercises do not record audio.

You can clear recall progress in the Study Hub. Clearing this site's browser storage also removes saved quiz scores. If browser storage is unavailable, the exercises still work for the current visit.

If you choose to fill in the optional check-in after you sit the real test, you tap answers from fixed lists: which part you sat, which topics came up, for the interview roughly how long it took and where it was, and optionally how it went. There are no text boxes and we do not ask for your name or contact details. Your choices are sent to Vercel Web Analytics and counted together with other responses. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies. Answers are not linked to your quiz progress, which stays on your device. We ask which topics came up, never the questions themselves.

This site uses Vercel Analytics to understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful and which links people follow. Vercel Analytics is designed to operate without tracking cookies or persistent personal identifiers, and the aggregated figures we see do not let us identify individual visitors. We use this information only to improve the guide - for example, to see which topics need clearer explanations or more sources.

Google Analytics 4 is optional. It loads only after you choose “Accept analytics” in the cookie and analytics banner. If you reject analytics, the choice is stored in this browser and GA4 is not loaded by this site.

Microsoft Clarity support is present in the codebase, but it requires both a configured project ID and the same analytics consent before it can load. Clarity is not used for official applications, document collection, payment processing, or eligibility decisions.

Many pages link to official government and programme websites, and to other guides in the Malta Guide Network. Once you follow one of those links, you are subject to that destination’s own privacy practices — this policy covers only Malta Pre-Departure Course itself.
